WHO WE ARE

OUR HISTORY

What makes us different?

A century ago, the land at the end of Cape Cod Avenue, was property granted in a trust by Robert Everson for general usage to all who owned within his Tract. These properties are deeded to this Trust. The Trust includes land on both sides of the Cape Cod turnaround, as well as the beach below. In order to provide safe and secure access to the beach, the land owners (or beneficiaries), got together and created the Indian Bluff Improvement Association (IBIA). They put in place ByLaws, and members stepped up to establish the IBIA Board.

IBIA LEADERSHIP

The IBIA consists of four executive board members, three to five board members and up to five trustees.

Most of the positions are elected by the members and are strictly volunteer positions.
